Without volunteers the MFF simply stops working.
We employ a two stage system when we post bail. A few volunteers help out by serving as our Bail Agents, but more volunteers serve as Greeters. We are committed to greeting clients when they are released, exchanging contact information, and making sure our clients have a way home.
We ask that our volunteers sign up for a cumulative 6 hours each month. If you are passionate about criminal justice reform and want to take action, there is no better way to get involved than to volunteer with the Minnesota Freedom Fund.

As a young initiative, we are also seeking community members interested in contributing their own special skill sets to the project as well. If you are an artist, web developer, accountant, or anything in between please reach out and talk to us about how you'd like to pitch in.
